Fifth Annual Blueberry Festival was today. All campers and staff hiked to the top of the cliffs in the morning. The blueberries were sparce, while the huckleberries were nearly plentiful. For the afternoon activity the campers were given common food ingredients and then they had to cook on a campfire. The tasty foods were judged by our cooking staff. Loryn, Julia and Jonny had advice to give on how to bake-low heat for sugary, warm heat for rising. She complimented the campers on the evenness of the cooking, nothing was burnt. Pancakes, pie and marble cake were the delicacies.
