This morning was spent finishing paddles and packing. This afternoon was time for APPRECIATIONS in which staff write and read to each camper to let them know what they appreciate about them as a member of our camp community.
Camper Appreciations ceremony
Staff then shared some great memories from the camp session. Memories of baby moose, full rainbow engulfing 4th Debsconeag, hikes to cliffs, successfully running class IV white water, ascent of Katahdin, energetic campers, smiling faces, pride in achievements, sounds of music…..
Dinner was a fun BBQ down by the waterfront. Many thanks for the kitchen staff for all of their efforts. S’mores for dessert were a hit!
Evening is a candlelight ceremony and concludes with a slideshow, always a camp favorite.
Look for paddles….hand carved…hand painted..
Trips include fun adventures such as exploring the Debsconeag ice caves.
