Start Your Application
Now that you’ve decided to enroll your daughter in a Chewonki program, please follow the steps outlined below to complete the registration process.
Step 1: Submit application and deposit
Submit your application and deposit through our online booking system. If you need assistance or require a paper registration form please contact Leslie Hunter 207-882-7323 x-104 or email@example.com.
Step 2: Await director confirmation
Please note that submitting an application form online or through the mail does not automatically enroll your child in a Chewonki program. Once your application has been received, the director will review it for appropriate program placement. Please note the director may contact you with questions to ensure the most appropriate program placement for your child or to make you aware of a waiting list for the program.
Once the director has made a program determination, you will receive an acknowledgment letter formally welcoming your daughter to the program. Along with this letter, you will receive additional information regarding payment due dates and health forms. No deposits will be processed until the director confirms the registration.
We require a $700 deposit at the time of registration ($100 for financial aid applicants), which is applied toward tuition. Chewonki accepts checks, all major credit cards, and monetary wire transfers. Please call our business office at (207) 882-7323. if you have any questions about tuition payment. Our payment schedule is as follows: Feb 1 – half balance due. May 1 remaining balance due.
Find information regarding Financial Aid here.
A full refund, less deposit will be given if a participant withdraws prior to May 15. The family is responsible for the entire tuition if the participant withdraws after May 15, arrives late for camp or leaves early. If a participant leaves a program early due to illness or injury, the tuition will not be refunded. However, 50% of the remaining prorated balance may be credited to another program for the following summer. Alternate programs are not available if a participant is unable to continue in the program for which they are registered. If you have any questions, please consult with the director.
Tuition insurance is available through a third party. Please contact us for details.
