We welcomed both Clintonia and Trillium back from their adventures on the W. Branch of Penobscot River and Lobster Lake. The evening dinner conversations were filled with highlights from their trips, favorite camp sites, and incredible wildlife sitings (moose swimming, eagles diving, slugs crawling, and bats flying). Tomorrow’s adventures include waterfront games, scavenger hunts, and welcoming back both Sarsparilla and Corydalis. We look forward to having all the groups back from their trips tomorrow night. The days that follow in camp are full and busy. Saturday evening is campfire, Sunday is Final Celebration, and Monday we make our way back to Wiscasset for our pick up! Whew! We are all trying to enjoy the last moments in camp before they quickly pass by. The humidity is thick tonight, the lake still. The girls are circling in their yurts up after “Spa and Game Night” (which takes place after showers and clean up). I imagine all will sleep well tonight.
