Andy Williams joins our staff as our new Site Manager for 4th Debsconeag Lake. Andy has years of experience in the camping world, and has worked for Chewonki Camp for Boys. Most recently he was Director of Ohana Camps for the Aloha Foundation which involved acquiring a new site and developing a new program. We look forward to his expertise in program and site management. Andy has extensive experience in just about everything in the outdoor field. He has lead canoe trips, hiking trips, as well as ski trips. He is a Registered Maine Guide, Maine State Trip Leader Instructor, Lifeguard, and Wilderness First Responder. At the end of the camp season, Andy will still be at 4th Debsconeag because you will find him running our off season programs. The cabins and yurts are available for adult and family rental and site usage. Know anyone who is interested? Have them find Andy: https://www.chewonki.org/vacations/vacations_debsconeag.asp During our Girls’ Camp season Andy keeps our energy systems going-Solar, Propane, water filtration, Waterless Toilets as well as maintaining our fleet of vehicles and Trailers. More than that he supports all that we do program wise. You might see him in a canoe, in a sailboat, on the swim dock, on a trail and it is always a pleasure to be at the same table as he at a meal. Welcome Andy!
